A good agent knows when to stop

I want an agent to do the boring part without asking me ten questions.

It can read, compare, collect evidence, prepare a draft, and explain what it found. That is where autonomy is useful.

Sending the message, spending money, publishing the post, or changing production is different. The cost of being wrong is no longer another bad answer.

The right boundary is not “AI can act” or “AI cannot act.” It is whether the action can be undone, who is accountable for it, and whether the evidence is still valid at the moment of execution.
